Updated 8 October 2026 by the Nexus Ten desk · cashier limits and bonus terms checked for every casino
Ten dollars is the most common floor in the Canadian market and the smallest amount that still unlocks a welcome bonus at most licensed casinos. Below are 18 sites that take a C$10 deposit, with what that deposit actually gets you: whether the bonus triggers, the wagering it carries and how much you need before you can withdraw.
Ranked by what a ten-dollar deposit gets you: bonus eligibility first, then wagering, withdrawal floor and payout speed. Bonus terms were correct when we checked and can change, so confirm them in the cashier.

A $10 minimum deposit casino in Canada will accept C$10 as your first payment, credit it to a real-money balance and, in most cases, let that same ten dollars count toward a welcome offer. That last part is the one people miss.
Plenty of sites will take less. Very few will reward less.
Ten dollars has settled in as the Canadian sweet spot for practical reasons. Interac e-Transfer, the rail most Canadians use, is set to C$10 at nearly every casino that supports it. The licensed Ontario brands on our list (PlayOJO, Casumo, Jackpot City, Spin Casino, LeoVegas and the rest of that group) open both the cashier and the welcome bonus at that figure. Go lower and you are usually depositing without a bonus. Go higher, to C$20, and you have hit the floor that most Curaçao-licensed sites set for their match offers, even when their cashier technically accepts ten.
So a 10 dollar deposit casino, as we use the term, is one where C$10 earns a bonus and a modest win can come back out without a top-up.
The three common entry points behave very differently past the deposit screen.
| Deposit | What usually opens | Bonus? | Typical rails | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| C$5 | Real-money play at a handful of sites, such as Slotum | Almost never; match offers start at C$20 there | Interac, MuchBetter, crypto | Someone testing a lobby or a payout before committing |
| C$10 | Full cashier plus the welcome offer at the Ontario-licensed brands | Yes at PlayOJO, Casumo, the Bayton group, LeoVegas and Vulkan Vegas | Interac, iDebit, Visa, MuchBetter, Paysafecard | Casual players who want a bonus without overspending |
| C$20 | The welcome match at most Curaçao sites | Yes, usually 40x to 50x the bonus | Interac, MuchBetter, crypto | Players chasing bigger free-spin bundles and larger lobbies |
The short version: C$5 buys a look around, C$20 buys the offshore package, and C$10 is the lowest amount that reliably buys both a bonus and a realistic route back to your bank.
We are an editorial team, not a test lab, and we did not fund accounts for this page. What we did was read each casino's published terms in October 2026, line by line, against the same short checklist.
Bonus figures reflect those terms at the time of checking. Offers change often, so confirm them in the cashier before you deposit.
The floor depends on the payment method as much as the casino. A site may advertise ten dollars, then ask more for crypto or vouchers.
| Method | Usual minimum deposit | Minimum withdrawal | Deposit speed | Withdraw to it? | Fees |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interac e-Transfer | C$10 | C$10 to C$20 | Instant to 30 min | Yes | None from the casino; check your bank plan |
| iDebit | C$10 | C$10 to C$20 | Instant | Yes | Usually none |
| Instadebit | C$10 | C$10 to C$20 | Instant | Yes | Small fee on some account actions |
| MuchBetter | C$10 | C$10 to C$20 | Instant | Yes | None for casino transfers |
| Paysafecard | C$10 | Not available | Instant | No, deposit only | Dormancy fee on unused cards |
| Flexepin | C$10 to C$20, by voucher | Not available | Instant | No, deposit only | None to deposit |
| Visa / Mastercard | C$10 | Often not offered | Instant, if approved | Rarely | Some banks treat it as a cash advance |
| Crypto (BTC, LTC, USDT) | Around C$10 to C$20 equivalent | Around C$20 equivalent | A few minutes to an hour | Yes | Network fee, which hurts on small sums |
Two things trip people up. Paysafecard and Flexepin are deposit-only, so if you win you will need a second method (usually Interac) set up and verified before you can withdraw. And credit card gambling transactions are blocked by several Canadian banks outright; even where the deposit goes through, the casino will rarely send money back to the card.
For a ten-dollar player, Interac is the default: same method in and out, no casino fee. MuchBetter is the backup if your bank is fussy about gambling merchants.
"Deposit $10, get a bonus" sounds generous until you multiply. Wagering is the number of times you must bet the bonus before it turns into withdrawable cash, and on a ten-dollar account that multiplier decides almost everything. The examples below assume a 100% match on the first C$10 where a match applies.
| Casino | Bonus on C$10 | Wagering | Turnover needed | Max bet while wagering | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PlayOJO | 80 free spins on Book of Dead | None | C$0 | No limit tied to the bonus | Winnings are cash at once; best fit for C$10 |
| Casumo | C$10 match + 50 bonus spins | 30x bonus | C$300 | Set in the terms; confirm | Lightest match requirement we found |
| Jackpot City | C$10 match, first of four deposits | 35x bonus | C$350 | Set in the terms; confirm | Fair, but check what counts toward wagering |
| Spin Casino | C$10 match + bonus spins | 35x bonus | C$350 | Set in the terms; confirm | Fair for a licensed Ontario brand |
| Vulkan Vegas | C$10 match + free spins | 40x bonus | C$400 | Set in the terms; confirm | Doable, though five days is tight |
| PlayAmo | None at C$10; match needs C$20 | 50x bonus | C$1,000 on a C$20 bonus | Set in the terms; confirm | Skip the bonus at this budget |
Put the Casumo figure in context. C$300 of turnover at C$0.20 a spin is 1,500 spins. At a 96% return, the expected loss over that many spins is roughly C$12, which is more than the bonus itself. But a 40x or 50x requirement on a small balance mostly ends with the balance at zero before the meter fills.
That is why PlayOJO sits at the top of our list for this budget. Eighty spins, no wagering, and whatever they pay is yours.
Can't find all four in a couple of minutes? Deposit without the bonus.
Spin count depends on each game's minimum stake. These titles run at most of the casinos listed.
| Game | Studio | Minimum bet | Spins for C$10 | RTP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Book of Dead | Play'n GO | C$0.10 | 100 | 96.21% |
| Big Bass Bonanza | Pragmatic Play | C$0.10 | 100 | 96.71% |
| Starburst | NetEnt | C$0.10 | 100 | 96.09% |
| Sweet Bonanza | Pragmatic Play | C$0.20 | 50 | 96.48% |
| Gates of Olympus | Pragmatic Play | C$0.20 | 50 | 96.50% |
| The Dog House | Pragmatic Play | C$0.20 | 50 | 96.51% |
| Wolf Gold | Pragmatic Play | C$0.25 | 40 | 96.01% |
| Mega Roulette (live) | Pragmatic Live | C$0.20 | 50 rounds | 97.30% |
A hundred spins sounds like a lot. On a high-volatility game it can disappear in fifteen minutes.
Bet sizing matters more than game choice at this level. Staying at the minimum gives you the most chances to land a feature, and the feature is where these games pay. Book of Dead and Gates of Olympus are built around rare, large hits; you can go sixty or seventy spins with very little coming back. Starburst is the opposite, paying small and often, which keeps a ten-dollar balance alive longer but rarely doubles it.
One approach: play C$5 on a low-volatility game first, and only move profit to something with a bigger ceiling.
Live tables are a different story. Most live blackjack and baccarat tables start at C$1 to C$5 a hand. Mega Roulette is one of the few live games where C$0.20 a round makes sense, and its 97.30% return is higher than any slot in the table above.

Launched in 2017 and run by SkillOnNet under MGA and iGaming Ontario licences, PlayOJO is the cleanest deal for a small deposit in Canada. C$10 by Interac, Visa, MuchBetter or Paysafecard unlocks 80 free spins on Book of Dead, and there is no wagering on them or on anything else on the site. Cashback is paid on every bet, win or lose. The headline offer looks small next to the C$1,000 match packages elsewhere, but those packages are worth far less on a ten-dollar budget. Minimum withdrawal is C$10, the stated payout window is 0 to 24 hours, and Ontario players verify before playing.
Casumo has been around since 2012 and holds the same pair of licences. Its offer at the time of checking was 100% up to C$500 plus 50 bonus spins, available from C$10. That turns ten dollars into twenty, and the 30x bonus requirement works out at C$300 of turnover, the lowest among the match offers on our list. The adventure levelling system drops free spins regularly as you play, which suits small, frequent sessions. Support is chat-first with no phone line. The lobby runs to about 2,000 games, withdrawals start at C$10, and the stated payout window is 0 to 48 hours.
The oldest brand in our top five, running since 1998 under Baytree Ltd and licensed by the MGA and iGaming Ontario. Jackpot City spreads its welcome package, up to C$1,600, across four deposits, and the first part opens at C$10. Interac, iDebit, Visa and Paysafecard all take that amount. The lobby is smaller at around 800 games, but it carries the Mega Moolah progressive jackpots, and eCOGRA payout audits are published monthly. Read the wagering clause closely, since it can run on the deposit as well as the bonus. Both floors sit at C$10, so a modest win can come straight back out.
Spin Casino has taken ten-dollar Interac payments since well before most of its competitors existed. Launched in 2001, it is licensed in Ontario and Malta and has a proper app rather than a wrapped mobile site. The welcome offer at the time of checking was up to C$1,000 plus 50 bonus spins at 35x the bonus. There is no crypto in the cashier, and the 700-game lobby feels thin beside the Curaçao sites. What it offers instead is twenty years without a payout scandal. Stated payout time is 24 to 48 hours, with a C$10 minimum and a C$10,000 weekly ceiling.
Owned by MGM Resorts through LeoVegas Group, this is the best mobile experience among the licensed brands. The welcome package was up to C$1,000 plus 200 free spins, wagered 35x, starting at C$10 by Interac, Visa, MuchBetter or Paysafecard. Ontario players get tighter bonus rules than the rest of Canada, which is a regulatory matter rather than a choice by the casino. The real draw is speed. Once documents are cleared, withdrawals often arrive the same afternoon, and the C$25,000 monthly ceiling is the highest on our list. Minimum cash-out is C$10.
Here is the trap. A site lets you in with C$10 but will not let you out with less than C$20. Turn your ten into eighteen and you are stuck: either play on until you reach the floor or lose it trying.
Every Malta-licensed brand in our top eight matches its withdrawal minimum to its deposit minimum at C$10. Every Curaçao site on the list sets its withdrawal floor at C$20. For a small player, that gap matters more than the size of the welcome offer.
Verification is the other speed bump. In Ontario, PlayOJO, Casumo and LeoVegas check your identity before you play, so the first withdrawal is usually quick. Jackpot City, Spin Casino and the other Bayton sites ask at the first cash-out. Several Curaçao brands, including PlayAmo, Mirax and Slotum, only request documents once cumulative deposits reach around C$2,000. Expect to provide:
Most casinos hold withdrawals as pending for up to 24 hours. Gaming Club reliably keeps to that window.
Gambling in Canada is regulated province by province, and the answer depends on your postal code.
Ontario has had an open, regulated market since April 2022. Private operators are licensed through iGaming Ontario under standards set by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). PlayOJO, Casumo, Jackpot City, Spin Casino, LeoVegas, Royal Vegas and Ruby Fortune all run Ontario-specific sites under that framework. Offshore brands without an Ontario licence, which includes the Curaçao sites on this page, are not supposed to accept Ontario residents. The minimum age in Ontario is 19.
Outside Ontario, each province runs its own online casino: PlayNow in British Columbia and Manitoba, Espacejeux in Quebec, PlayAlberta in Alberta, and the Atlantic provinces share a lottery-corporation site. Alongside those, Canadians in the other provinces commonly play at sites licensed in Malta, Curaçao or by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, where Gaming Club is based. Individual players using them have not been the target of enforcement, though any dispute goes to the foreign regulator rather than a Canadian one.
The legal age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
Ten dollars feels harmless. It is still real money, and a low entry point makes it easy to deposit again and again without adding up the total.
Every licensed casino on our list lets you set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits from the account settings, and lowering a limit takes effect immediately. Raising one comes with a cooling-off delay. Time-outs lock the account for anything from a day to several weeks, and self-exclusion closes it for six months or longer.
If gambling has stopped being fun, or you are depositing to win back what you lost, talk to someone. ConnexOntario offers free, confidential support around the clock at 1-866-531-2600, and every province has a similar service.
Decide on the number before you open the cashier, and treat the deposit as the price of an evening's entertainment rather than an investment you expect back.
Among the 18 casinos on our list, Slotum has the lowest floor at C$5. Everywhere else the cashier starts at C$10. A five-dollar deposit almost never qualifies for a welcome offer, though, since Slotum's match starts at C$20. For most players C$10 is the practical minimum because it is the lowest amount that opens both the cashier and a bonus at the licensed brands.
At many sites, yes. PlayOJO, Casumo, Jackpot City, Spin Casino, LeoVegas, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune, Gaming Club and Vulkan Vegas all started their welcome offers at C$10 when we checked their terms. Most Curaçao-licensed sites, including PlayAmo, Woo and Hugo, accept a C$10 deposit but only pay the match from C$20. Confirm the current minimum in the cashier, since offers change.
Yes, as long as your balance clears the withdrawal minimum and any bonus wagering is complete. The Malta-licensed brands on our list set the withdrawal floor at C$10, the same as the deposit. The Curaçao sites set it at C$20, so a small win can sit in the account until it grows. You will also need to pass identity verification before the first payout.
Interac e-Transfer suits most Canadians. Nearly every casino accepts C$10 through it, there is no casino fee, and you can withdraw back to the same account. MuchBetter is a good alternative if your bank blocks gambling transactions. Paysafecard and Flexepin work for deposits only, and credit cards are often declined by Canadian banks or cannot receive withdrawals.
At all 18 casinos on our list, the Interac e-Transfer minimum deposit is C$10. The withdrawal minimum by Interac is C$10 at the Malta-licensed brands such as PlayOJO, Casumo and Spin Casino, and C$20 at the Curaçao-licensed sites. Deposits normally appear within minutes. Your own bank may set daily e-Transfer limits that apply on top of the casino's.
It depends on the province. In Ontario, only sites licensed through iGaming Ontario and regulated by the AGCO may serve residents, and the minimum age is 19. Elsewhere, provinces run their own sites such as PlayNow, Espacejeux and PlayAlberta, while offshore sites licensed in Malta, Curaçao or Kahnawake also accept players. The minimum age is 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec and 19 in other provinces.
Based on the payout windows the casinos publish, PlayOJO, LeoVegas and PlayAmo list 0 to 24 hours, with LeoVegas often paying the same afternoon once documents are approved. Casumo lists up to 48 hours. Bayton Group sites such as Jackpot City and Royal Vegas quote one to three days. Interac and e-wallets are usually the quickest routes; uploading ID early avoids the most common delay.
Eventually, yes. Ontario-licensed sites like PlayOJO, Casumo and LeoVegas verify you before you can play. Jackpot City, Spin Casino and most Curaçao sites ask at the first withdrawal. A few, including PlayAmo, Mirax and Slotum, only request documents once total deposits reach around C$2,000. Expect to provide photo ID and a recent proof of address.
